MBDA is seeking an experienced engineer to act as the technical authority for electrical interfaces between the weapon system and equipment. You will own system-level requirements, coordinate with internal teams and external Design Authorities, and drive integration, verification, and acceptance across subsystems.
This role requires defining electrical requirements, managing SOWs, and leading technical reviews while ensuring compliance with standards, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
You will act as the technical authority for electrical interfaces between the weapon system and its equipment, ensuring that electrical design, performance, and constraints are aligned across multiple suppliers and subsystems. Rather than detailed circuit design, this role is about owning the bigger picture. Bringing together electrical architecture, equipment integration, and supplier delivery to ensure a coherent, compliant, and high‑performing system. You will work closely with internal teams and external equipment suppliers (Design Authorities), translating system‑level requirements into clear electrical expectations and ensuring these are delivered, verified, and accepted. This is a varied, hands‑on role that spans requirements definition, supplier engagement, integration activities, and system acceptance, ideal for engineers who enjoy working across disciplines and influencing technical direction.
