Amazon Workforce Staffing is hiring for warehouse roles in Erfurt and surrounding sites. You will prepare and pack orders, receive inventory, and load shipments for delivery services, with a fixed schedule and multiple shift options.

The roles require 18+ years old, and proficiency in German and/or English. Training is provided for PIT operation and safety, with access to Deutschlandticket and shuttle services.

Qualifikationen

• Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 kg and stand/walk during shifts.
• Able to work on heights up to 13 m where applicable.
• Willing to work shifts Mon–Sat with fixed schedules.

Starting September 1st, our entry-level wage will increase to €16,45

Salary

15.80€ gross per hour for day time shifts

Guaranteed wage adjustment after 12 months (calculated 16.12€/h gross) and 24 months(calculated 17.78€/h gross)

Shifts

We offer both full-time (+30 hours/week) and part-time (12+ hours/week) opportunities with fixed shift schedules to suit different lifestyles.

Shift options and availability vary by site, but you'll have the ability to choose your schedule later in the process.

Working week from Monday to Saturday, 4 working days (ERF1/ERF2) and 5 working days (DTH1)

Job Overview

You’ll be part of the Amazon warehouse team that gets orders ready for customers relying on Amazon services.You will be selecting, packing, and shipping orders – in some cases, for our super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service.

Some of your duties may include

• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Receive and put away inventory
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and van
• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and work at heights up to 13m. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.

You’ll also need to be able to

• Lift up to 15kg
• View prompts on screens and follow direction for some tasks
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
• Work at a height of up to 13m on a mezzanine (where applicable)
• Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in German and/or English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all jobrequirement and safety guidelines.
