Zusammenfassung

Die Technische Hochschule Aschaffenburg sucht eine/n etablierte/n Forscher/in im Bereich Produktionstechnologien. Sie vertreten das volle Spektrum der Digital Production Technologies, lehren in Deutsch und, wo möglich, in Englisch in verschiedenen Studiengängen und Spezialisierungen.

Sie betreuen Abschluss- und PhD-Arbeiten, arbeiten in der angewandten Forschung und entwickeln das Production Technologies Laboratory weiter.

Qualifikationen

• Universitätabschluss im Ingenieurwesen und Nachweis hoher akademischer Leistungsfähigkeit (PhD oder gleichwertig).
• Umfangreiche Berufserfahrung in relevanten Bereichen der digitalen Produktion oder Technologie.

Aufgaben

• Sie lehren in Deutsch und, falls möglich, in Englisch über verschiedene Studiengänge und Spezialisierungen.
• Sie betreuen Abschlussarbeiten (Bachelor, Master) sowie perspektivische PhD-Arbeiten.
• Sie beteiligen sich an angewandter Forschung und entwickeln das Production Technologies Laboratory weiter.
• Sie knüpfen Partnerschaften mit Industrie und Wissenschaft und akquirieren Drittmittel.
• Sie gestalten die Internationalisierung der Fakultät mit und arbeiten eng interdisziplinär.

Your area of responsibility:

• You represent the full scope of Digital Production Technologies teaching and research, with a particular focus on modern manufacturing and production systems, their planning, control, and automation, as well as simulation- and data-driven methods in digital production.
• You teach students practical methods and share your professional experience and expertise with them. To this end, you will teach courses in German and, where applicable, English across various degree programs and specializations within the faculty. Additionally, you actively contribute to the development of core modules in the fields of production engineering and industrial engineering.
• You will supervise project, bachelor’s and master’s theses, as well as perspectival PhD theses.
• You are involved in applied research and further develop the Production Technologies Laboratory.
• You establish and maintain research and technology transfer partnerships with partners in industry and academia, and actively raise third-party funding.
• You are engaged in the internationalization of the faculty, particularly through the development and maintenance of international partnerships and English-language courses, as well as in academic self-administration.

Besides your academic experience you need 5 years of professional experience, from which at least 3 years have been served outside of higher education, that is in the industry or other professional enterprises.
