Zusammenfassung

Valeo is seeking a VIE Customs Analyst in Germany for a 12-month assignment with renewal possibility, based in our Bietigheim-Bissingen site under the Brain division. The role focuses on customs compliance, import declarations, and ERP management to support greener mobility.

You will work cross-functionally on regulatory requirements (CBAM/EUDR), process improvements, and customer inquiries while gaining international experience within a leading automotive group.

Qualifikationen

• Master degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or Finance / Accounting / Business / International Trade.
• Experience in customs compliance, import declarations, SAP/ERP systems, regulatory requirements, customer relations, or process improvement (ideally in automotive).
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.
• Strong communication, international mindset, and openness to new cultures and ways of working.

Aufgaben

• Verify customs and accounting traceability in the ERP (SAP).
• Verify the accuracy of import declarations.
• Submit supplementary declarations to the authorities.
• Update the customs instructions database in the ERP system.
• Comply with regulatory requirements such as CBAM and EUDR.
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Participate in projects to improve process efficiency.
• Serve as interim manager in the manager's absence.

Your challenges?

• You will verify customs and accounting traceability in the ERP (SAP),

• You will verify the accuracy of import declarations,

• You will submit supplementary declarations to the authorities,

• You will update the customs instructions database in the ERP system,

• You will comply with regulatory requirements related to regulations such as CBAM and EUDR,

• You will respond to customer inquiries,

• You will participate in projects aimed at improving process efficiency,

• You will serve as the interim manager in the manager's absence

Lets talk about you.

• You are graduated from a Master degree in Supply Chain and Logistics or Finance / Accounting / Business / International Trade

• You already have experience in customs compliance, import declarations, SAP/ERP systems, regulatory requirements, customer relations, or process improvement (ideally in the automotive field)

• You have a fluent level of English and ideally you have a good command of German

• You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

• You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
