Our Team, Your Impact

As a TGO Network Portfolio Director – Sterile & Biologics within Teva's Global Network & Product Strategy team (GNPS), you will play a critical role in shaping strategic product and site decisions for Teva's sterile manufacturing network across Teva Global Operations (TGO). The role will lead structured decision-making processes that determine where sterile & Biologics products should be manufactured, whether they should be made internally or sourced externally, and how the sterile network can be optimised to improve cost, margin, resilience, and long-term competitiveness—while safeguarding the stringent quality, sterility assurance, and regulatory standards that sterile production demands.

This is a senior, cross-functional role requiring strong strategic judgement, deep understanding of sterile & Biologics manufacturing operations, analytical capability, and governance discipline. You will partner closely with Portfolio, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain and operational Site Leadership to translate portfolio needs and sterile network opportunities into clear recommendations, robust business cases, and well-governed execution pathways that reflect the technical complexity and capital intensity of sterile production.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Sterile & Biologics Product Site Selection: Lead structured decision-making processes to determine the optimal manufacturing site for sterile & Biologics products across the TGO network, balancing cost, capacity, sterile technical capability, supply resilience, regulatory considerations, and strategic fit.
• Make vs. Buy Decisions: Own and facilitate make-versus-buy assessments for sterile products and portfolios, ensuring decisions are supported by robust analysis of cost, margin, supply risk, internal sterile capacity, external CMO sourcing options, and long-term strategic value.
• Pruning & Optimisation Response: Act as the TGO Sterile & Biologics Network Strategy lead for portfolio pruning and optimisation requests, translating Portfolio team needs into operational assessments, sterile network options, recommendations, and implementation considerations.
• Network Cost & Margin Improvement: Lead analysis of the TGO sterile & Biologics manufacturing network to identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, capacity and utilisation optimisation, complexity reduction, and improved allocation of sterile & Biologics products across sites.
• Sterile & Biologics Technology Platform Strategy: Support portfolio segmentation activities and the definition of the target network strategy for the sterile & Biologics segment, spanning aseptic fill-finish, terminal sterilisation, lyophilisation, and associated sterile dosage forms (vials, pre-filled syringes, ampoules).
• Executive-Level Governance: Own the executive-level engagement for sterile & Biologics product site selection, make-vs-buy, pruning, optimisation, and network strategy decisions—ensuring clear decisions, recommendations, and disciplined follow-through.
• Strategic Business Case Development: Build business cases for sterile & Biologics portfolio decisions, integrating financial impact, capacity implications, service risk, sterile capital investment needs, and quality/regulatory constraints.
• Decision Tracking & Benefits Realisation: Track decisions, actions, dependencies, and expected benefits from network and portfolio initiatives, ensuring ownership is clear and value delivery is monitored through appropriate governance forums.
• Guidance to GNPS Data Analysts: Provide direction to GNPS data analysts on the models, assumptions, scenarios, AI-enabled analytical approaches, and reporting outputs required to support high-quality strategic recommendations and repeatable decision-making processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with peers in Portfolio, Commercial, Strategy Execution, Finance, Supply Chain, Sterile & Biologics Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, and Quality to align strategic sterile network choices with business priorities.

Your Skills And Experience

• It is mandatory to have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
• It is mandatory to have at least 3 years' hands‑on operational experience in sterile or biologics manufacturing, with strong knowledge of the associated technologies and processes—such as aseptic fill‑finish, terminal sterilisation, lyophilisation, isolator/barrier systems, and contamination control—and the stringent quality and regulatory constraints that govern sterile production.
• It is mandatory to have at least 5 years experience in manufacturing network strategy, supply chain, or related strategic decision‑making roles within a complex global organisation, ideally with exposure to sterile or other regulated dosage‑form networks.
• Strong understanding of sterile & biologics pharmaceutical manufacturing environments, including site capabilities, sterility assurance, cost drivers, quality/regulatory considerations (e.g. Annex 1, aseptic process validation) and supply risk.
• Strong financial, analytical, and commercial capability, with a capital‑allocation mindset and experience building and challenging CFO‑level business cases covering cost, margin, capacity, investment, risk, and benefits realisation.
• Proven ability to effectively leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to solve strategic business issues, accelerate insight generation, strengthen scenario planning, and improve the quality and speed of executive decision‑making.
• Beneficial to have prior experience in top‑tier strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation office roles.
• Demonstrated experience designing or leading governance processes, decision forums, executive reviews, and cross‑functional alignment mechanisms for complex strategic initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, working effectively with senior leaders and peers across Portfolio, Commercial, Strategy Execution, Finance, Supply Chain, Sites, Procurement, Quality, and GNPS, with a proven ability to influence and secure alignment at ExCo level.

Location

This role can be based at any Teva location across Europe, with the exception of Switzerland and France.
