NAXCON GmbH in Gera is seeking a Technical Writer for BDok (m/f/d). You will independently create descriptive technical documentation according to specifications, review documents for accuracy, and coordinate with multiple teams.

The successful candidate holds a technical degree or state-certified technician certificate, speaks German and English, and enjoys working in a cross-functional environment with defense projects.

Qualifikationen

• A completed technical degree or certification as a state-certified technician.
• Ideally, experience in technical documentation (S1000D and H011).
• Strong knowledge in mechanical/automotive engineering.
• Fluency in German and English

• Experience with defense equipment is desirable.

Tasks

• Independently performing all tasks involved in creating descriptive technical documentation in accordance with existing specifications and processes
• Reviewing and evaluating the required documents and regulations for accuracy and usability, as well as assigning them to the appropriate assemblies
• Creating graphic designs and reviewing their implementation Incorporating and updating the results, as well as maintaining the content in light of technical and procedural changes
• Cross-functional and cross-departmental coordination and research
• Creating work orders and managing and monitoring them within the team
• Participating in internal and, if necessary, external project meetings (e.g., kick-off meetings, status updates)

Requirements

• A completed technical degree or certification as a state-certified technician

• Solid technical knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering / automotive engineering
• Fluency in German and English
• Basic knowledge of technical documentation
• Experience working with defense equipment is desirable
