Deliveroo is seeking a Technical Sourcer, Engineering for our London hybrid team. You’ll identify, engage, and attract world‑class engineering talent to build and scale our products that power Deliveroo.

You will partner with recruiting and hiring managers across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, iOS, and Android to build diverse, high‑quality pipelines and shape our top‑of‑funnel talent strategy.

We’re looking for a Technical Sourcer, Engineering to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll help us identify, engage, and attract world-class engineering talent to build and scale the products that power Deliveroo.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the Engineering Recruiting team, reporting into the Recruiting Manager, Engineering (UK). You’ll partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers across Backend, Frontend, Full Stack, iOS, and Android teams to build diverse, high-quality pipelines and shape our top-of-funnel talent strategy.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Sourcing & Pipeline Building

• Proactively identify and engage top-tier engineering talent using creative sourcing techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, Ashby, and developer communities.
• Craft thoughtful, highly personalised outreach that authentically brings Deliveroo’s brand, engineering challenges, and culture to life.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define role requirements, refine target profiles, and align on hiring priorities across engineering functions.
• Deliver seamless candidate handoffs to recruiters, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to interview stage.

Market Insights & Strategy

• Leverage data to track pipeline health, outreach engagement, and conversion metrics to continuously optimise sourcing strategies.
• Map relevant target companies and provide real-time talent market insights, mapping, and salary benchmarks to key stakeholders.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

• Drive DE&I initiatives by proactively sourcing candidates from underrepresented backgrounds and embedding inclusive sourcing practices across all searches.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential:

• Proven experience sourcing technical talent (e.g., Backend, Frontend, Mobile) in-house or within a fast-paced tech recruitment agency.
• Strong research and candidate engagement skills using advanced boolean search techniques and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building collaborative partnerships with recruiters and hiring managers.
• Proactive, data-informed approach with a clear understanding of how sourcing metrics drive talent strategy and decision-making.
• Passion for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion, with demonstrated experience embedding DE&I principles into sourcing pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Hands-on experience working with modern applicant tracking systems such as Ashby.
• Familiarity with engineering skill sets and domain landscapes across product and tech ecosystems.
