Hiflylabs is seeking a Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead enterprise data platform implementations built on Databricks in a globally distributed setting. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, driving data architecture from ingestion to modern consumption layers, including BI and AI solutions.

You will oversee end-to-end project delivery, run agile ceremonies, manage budgets and risks, and align stakeholders from C-level to engineering.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years as an IT Project Manager or Advisory Consultant, with a track record in complex data/cloud projects.
• Strong understanding of AI and data platform concepts, including Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of experience to lead complex, enterprise-wide data platform implementations built on Databricks. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the execution of data architectures from ingestion through the Medallion structure to modern consumption layers (including BI and agentic AI solutions).

What You Will Do

• Project Delivery: End-to-end management of modern data platform implementations built on Databricks.
• Agile Leadership: Run all scrum ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retros) for data engineering and data science teams.
• Risk & Scope Management: Track budgets, optimize compute costs, and manage technical risks (data quality, pipeline bottlenecks).
• Stakeholder Alignment : Bridge the gap between C-level business requirements and technical execution.
• Backlog Refinement: Partner with Product Owners and Data Architects to prioritize the technical roadmap.

What Do You Need to Apply?

• Experience: 8+ years as an IT Project Manager or Advisory Consultant , with a track record in complex data/cloud projects.
• Core Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of foundational AI and data platform concepts , including the architectural components of leading providers like Databricks, Snowflake, and Microsoft Fabric.

Nice to Have

• Consulting Background: Experience at a Big4 or top-tier tech consulting firm.
• Tech Stack Familiarity: Hands-on exposure to Spark, Delta Lake, or MLOps tools.
• Enterprise implementation experience (ERP, CRM, Core Banking, BSS/OSS).
• Experience in consulting sales or supporting public sector projects.
• Industry Domain: Deep business understanding of at least two sectors: Banking, Telco, Energy, Insurance, Retail, or Production.
• Leadership: Strong people management skills; confident enough to review and correct the work of technical subject matter experts.
• Fluent English is non-negotiable.
