Google Munich is seeking a Technical Program Manager within the ML, Systems, & Cloud AI (MSCA) group. You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from planning to delivery, coordinating with engineers, product managers and executives.

You’ll plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across Google. The role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable AI tooling for core developer systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in Technical Program/Product Management or Engineering Management, with 2 years AI/ML exp.
• 3 years of software development in one or more languages (Python, C/C++, Java, JS).
• 2 years leading AI-powered feature development with distributed teams across locations/time zones.
• Experience with data analysis and data tools (SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in Technical Program/Product Management or Engineering Management, with 2 years of experience in AI/ML projects.
• 3 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 2 years of experience leading software development and AI powered feature development or model improvement with distributed teams, managing execution across different locations and time zones.
• Experience with data analysis and data tools (e.g., SQL, MySQL, Tableau, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Experience with leading large scale technical projects or working with engineering teams.
• Comfortable working with tools like Figma, Sheets, Slides, Docs, and other relevant productivity and collaboration platforms.
• Ability to collaborate with executive internal stakeholders on high visibility projects across different functions and geographies to manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to exercise technical judgment in solving software engineering challenges.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Germany: €128000 - €131000 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Manage the lifecycle of high-visibility AI developer products, coordinating across multiple workstreams to ensure they meet Google's standards for quality, reliability, and usability.
