Technical Product Owner Data Integration / Tech Lead Data Integration (m/w/d)

The Information Platform for Energy Networks (iPEN) ensures that data from regional distribution network operators is centrally collected and made accessible. This platform forms the basis for the rapid and flexible development of smart solutions for all activities in the energy network business and for their cost-effective rollout across the entire network community. We are seeking an internal project position for a Technical Product Owner Data Integration / Tech Lead Data Integration.
Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the architecture and continuous development of our data integration platform based on Databricks.
- You lead the design, implementation, and operation of data integration pipelines (extract, transform, load) in collaboration with other iPEN teams and the system managers of regional distribution network operators.
- You support in translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- You assist with your technical expertise in prioritizing and refining the product backlog.
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational success and technical excellence.
- You help your team design effective solutions, implement efficiently, and maintain well-documented, maintainable code.
Your Profile
- Proven experience with the Microsoft Azure technology stack, especially Azure Databricks.
- Several years of experience in development with Python, Scala, SQL, Spark, and Databricks for cloud-native solutions.
- Knowledge in Azure Cloud Security and Identity Management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab).
- Familiarity with Terraform and experience with Docker & Kubernetes are advantageous.
- Good understanding of product management principles and agile and DevOps methods.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills, structured thinking, and high organizational skills.
- Fluent English skills; German skills are a plus.
