RxREVU, Inc. is seeking a Technical Leader (Backend-focused) based in Germany for a fully remote, high-impact role. You will shape backend architecture, define technical standards, and drive the roadmap while remaining hands-on with API-driven distributed systems.

You will lead a cross-functional team with Product, Frontend, and DevOps to deliver robust backend solutions, leveraging AI-powered development practices to boost velocity and quality.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of backend development experience, including at least 4 years in a technical leadership or lead engineering role.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and backend frameworks such as NestJS or Express.js.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, along with containerization, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Solid understanding of event-driven architectures, messaging systems; experience with Apache Kafka is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools and workflows into software development to improve speed, efficiency, and quality.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, establishing technical standards, and setting engineering direction.
• Good understanding of frontend concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with frontend engineers.
• Strong knowledge of software security, testing strategies, observability, reliability, and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions across functions.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
