Zusammenfassung

Montblanc is seeking a Team Lead for Master Data Management at our Hamburg headquarters, beginning 1st June 2026. This full-time position will focus on driving data governance, leading SAP initiatives, and overseeing the master data lifecycle.

Team Lead Master Data Management (m/f/d)

Full‑time position at our Headquarters in Hamburg starting 1st June 2026.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Data Governance & Quality: Drive Article Master Data governance (RACI, rules, workflows), championing quality strategy, profiling, KPIs, root cause analysis, and remediation for data integrity.
• Global Integration & System Orchestration: Lead seamless data flow via strategic SAP initiatives and cross‑system integration across PLM, WMS, and E‑commerce platforms.
• Master Data Lifecycle Management: Oversee the full Article Master Data lifecycle (creation, enrichment, revision, obsolescence, archival) with robust change management.
• Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and govern key master data projects (especially SAP) from conception to successful, value‑driven implementation.
• Team Empowerment & Development: Provide inspiring leadership, fostering growth, collaboration, and high performance within the MDM team through effective training.
• Process Innovation & Optimization: Collaborate with the PEGA workflow Product Owner to drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot, and enhance efficiency through innovative solutions.
• Data Analysis & Strategic Insight: Conduct in-depth analysis and generate critical reports to transform data into actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy: Proactively manage stakeholder relationships, championing MDM value, driving adoption, and fostering effective communication across business units.
• Future‑Proofing & Strategic Vision: Architect sustainable master data concepts, anticipating future needs and shaping long‑term data strategy.

You'll have

• Academic Foundation: University degree and 3+ years’ experience in MDM leadership or similar.
• SAP Expertise: Proven SAP proficiency, particularly with master data modules.
• Data Dexterity: Advanced Excel (Power Query); analytics tools (SQL, BI tools) a strong plus.
• Operational Excellence: Structured, organized, and proactive work methodologies.
• Process Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes, data flow, and governance.
