ISCC, headquartered in Cologne, seeks a System Manager for ISCC PLUS (Traceability & CoC). You will drive upscaling of ISCC PLUS, update system documents, and develop training for auditors, bodies, and users.

Aufgaben

• Provide technical expertise to develop ISCC PLUS in traceability and CoC.
• Develop and revise ISCC PLUS system documents and related materials.
• Develop training curriculum and conduct trainings for ISCC PLUS users.
• Provide technical support for ISCC PLUS certification requirements.
• Track regulatory developments and ISO standards related to traceability and CoC.
• Perform benchmarking and manage pilot projects.
• Represent ISCC at external events and conferences.

Your tasks

ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Our activities and impact are expanding and our teams are growing exponentially since the last 2 years. This is why the ISCC PLUS team of experts are looking forward to welcome you as a System Manager - ISCC PLUS (Traceability & CoC) at the ISCC headquarters in Cologne.

The System Manager - ISCC PLUS (Traceability & CoC) has the objective to drive the upscaling of ISCC PLUS certifications, developing and improving the ISCC PLUS system with regards to new legislation and market requirements, increasing recognition and market share, in the strong focus topic on traceability and chain of custody.

Your main duties will be:

• You will provide technical expertise to further develop ISCC PLUS scheme and its implementation, in the strong focus topic on traceability and chain of custody
• You will develop and revise ISCC PLUS System Documents and other relevant documents
• You will develop training curriculum and materials, and conduct trainings to all ISCC PLUS users (Certification Bodies, auditors, System Users, and other stakeholders)
• You will provide technical support for all users (and potential users) for their understanding and implementing of ISCC PLUS certification requirements in a timely and professional manner
• You will follow up with regulatory developments & ISO standards related to traceability and chain of custody
• You will carry out benchmarking as well as develop and manage pilot projects
• You will represent ISCC at external events (e.g. conferences, stakeholder meetings)

Your profile

• University degree in bioenergy, chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental sciences, mechanical engineering, material science
• At least 2 years of professional experience after graduation, preferably related to: circular economy, bio economy, auditing, certification systems or similar
• Proven professional experience in project management
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment with stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent language skills in English (at least C1), additional language skills will be of advantage
• High degree of initiative and independent working style
• Willingness to contribute to the continuous process improvement within the company
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
