Zusammenfassung

MBDA S.A.S. is seeking a System Engineer within the Platform Data Link Terminal Team to support a high-profile weapon system programme.

You will manage requirements, publish design certificates, and provide in-service support across UK and international customers, using MBSE methodologies and Rhapsody where applicable. You will work in a hybrid environment with responsibilities spanning model-based engineering, validation, and documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Able to apply MBSE approaches to complex weapon system projects.
• Strong knowledge of SysML/UML and model-based engineering tools.
• Experience in solving technical problems in electrical systems.

Bristol An amazing and exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, hardworking and close-knit team, the Platform Data Link Terminal Team within the highly skilled Data Links department. Develop System Engineering skills, MBSE RF and many more... Salary Circa £46,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. Dynamic (hybrid) working Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working Minimum 1 - 2 days per week on. Security Clearance British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a highly successful weapon system programme within the PDLT team, providing through-life support of all aspects of an important sub-system, the PDLT. You will be operating within a busy delivery programme for UK and international customers ensuring the product maintains the highest of standards. You will be working with technologies at the forefront of European weapon systems design, supporting the development of high performance, safe, secure and reliable products that our customers can rely on. You will be a System Engineer who can work independently, will be given responsibility across varied engineering topics, and the freedom to manage your own tasks, including:

• Managing requirements and support publishing Certificate of Designs.
• Providing advice on In-service Support Queries.
• Problem solving using trials data and electrical drawings.
• Undertake Model-Based System Engineering (using Rhapsody).
• Product validation and certification of changes to made to the standard product.
• Interacting with project managers/planners to update plans and forecasting spend/labour.
• Producing and reviewing engineering papers.

What we're looking for from you

• A team player with positive collaborative behaviours with an excellent 'can do' attitude.
• Someone who can challenge established processes and behaviours to make improvements.
• An understanding of System Engineering Process (including System Specification, System Test and Integration).
• Experience of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML and UML, preferably using Rhapsody
• Experience of technical problem solving with in electrical systems.
