Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Cloud and IT Systems Manager to operate and maintain our AWS-based platform used by healthcare providers. The role ensures high availability, security, and compliance across US and EU environments, supporting incident response and audits for SOC2, HIPAA and FedRAMP, while managing access, documentation and runbooks.

The candidate will collaborate with the EU engineering team, implement backup and DR plans, and lead patches and security hardening for HIPAA/SOC2

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, AWS Security certification, ITIL) are a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cloud and IT system management, with at least 3 years in a healthcare setting.
• Good understanding and know-how of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, IoT Core, DynamoDB, S3, Batch, EC2, SageMaker, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience using AWS security, compliance and monitoring services (AWS WAF, Config, GuardDuty, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail).
• Proficiency with server administration, virtualization technologies, and IT security.
• Proven experience working within HIPAA, SOC2 and HITECH frameworks.
• Deep familiarity with NIST 800‑53 (FedRAMP) and Trust Services Criteria (SOC2).
• Hands‑on experience maintaining systems under SOC2 Type II and FedRAMP (NIST 800‑53) frameworks.
• Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, Docker, and scripting (Python, Bash, Typescript).

• Lead SOC2 and FedRAMP prep, audits and evidence collection; manage HIPAA compliance tasks.
• Ensure US cloud infra remains compliant; manage automated patching and configuration hardening.
• Manage IT systems and access (e.g., EntraID); procure and manage US hardware via Intune MD M.
• Test data backup and DR plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
• Monitor performance, uptime and security; apply patches and fixes as needed.
• Provide first line support for US employees; resolve tickets in Jira Service Management.
• Document IT procedures and update user guides and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate cloud based product
• Operate and maintain AWS infrastructure supporting our AWS-based platform used by healthcare providers
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our production environments
• Support the EU based engineering team in deploying code to US production environments
• Provide input and requirements to development team on backup, disaster recovery security, monitoring, operations, release and deployment best practices
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for system outages and act as the primary technical point of contact for US-based infrastructure alerts and security incidents
• Maintain detailed system documentation and operational runbooks and playbooks; contribute to definition of procedures, policies and work instructions
• Investigate and troubleshoot cloud based application issues and ensure timely resolution for customers
• Help define and shape the procedures, policies and work instructions required for achieving SOC2 and FedRamp certifications; lead the technical preparation and evidence collection for first time and annual SOC2 audits and FedRAMP authorization packages
• Ensure the US cloud infrastructure remains in a continuously compliant state, managing automated patching and configuration hardening required for HIPAA, SOC2, and FedRAMP
• Manage IT systems and provide/revoke access to employees (e.g., EntraID)
• Procure, configure, and manage all US-based company hardware, including laptops and mobile devices, using the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution of Microsoft Intune
• Implement and regularly test data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity in case of a system failure or cyberattack
• Monitor systems performance, uptime and security; apply patches, updates and security fixes when needed
• Act as the first line of support for all US employees, resolving issues with hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices), software (Microsoft 365, Office365, specialised applications) and network connectivity; register, monitor, and resolve tickets in Jira Service Management
• Meticulously document IT procedures and keep IT records in line with our procedures; create and update user guides and training materials
