Envalior is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead the global ESG governance and drive the development of our sustainability strategy. You will shape reporting and rating structures from scratch, aligning with CSRD and stakeholder expectations.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, lead the social chapter of the sustainability report, and build processes for ESG rating programs across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related roles in an international environment.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g. Ecovadis, UN Global Compact, CSRD) is a plus.
• Academic degree in sustainability, business, environmental science, or a related field.

IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR

As Sustainability Manager at Envalior, you will lead the global ESG subcommittee “Social and Governance”, ensuring that effective governance structures and ESG processes are defined and implemented across key global functions. You will actively develop and implement sustainability strategies for social and governance topics while supporting strategic decision-making through independent judgment and innovative, out-of-the-box thinking. Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods and approaches to build ESG reporting and rating structures (e.g. Ecovadis) from scratch in alignment with CSRD requirements and stakeholder expectations.

You will make key contributions to Envalior:

• Global lead of the ESG subcommittee “Social and Governance”, coordinating cross-functional alignment across HR, Legal & Compliance, and Communications
• Global project lead for the social chapter of Envalior’s sustainability report, ensuring high-quality reporting and visibility at ELT and shareholder level

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and execute strategies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail
• Several years of experience in sustainability, ESG, or related roles in an international environment
• Academic degree in sustainability, business, environmental science, or a related field
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g. Ecovadis, UN Global Compact, CSRD) is a plus
• Willingness to work in global, cross-functional teams and manage international stakeholders
• Fluency in German and English
