Randstad Deutschland seeks a Supply Chain Specialist in the Karlsfeld/Munich region to join via temporary employment. You will act as the operational link between internal departments and external partners to maintain smooth material and information flows.
Responsibilities include coordinating end-to-end supply chain processes, collaborating with purchasing, production planning, engineering and sales, and proactively addressing bottlenecks and disruptions.
Our client is a high tech company located northwest of Munich (Karlsfeld region) that develops software platforms for autonomous systems. To strengthen day-to-day operations and optimize global value chains, we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist via temporary employment (Arbeitnehmerüberlassung). In this role, you will act as the operational link between internal departments and external partners to maintain smooth material and information flows.
Coordinate, monitor, and optimize end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, scheduling, warehousing, and order fulfillment
Act as the main operational contact between purchasing, production planning, engineering, sales, and external vendors
Proactively address supply bottlenecks, component shortages, and delivery disruptions, maintaining backup solutions for critical supply items
Assist in improving supply chain workflows, documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), and enhancing ERP systems and digital tools
Track and evaluate operational KPIs, such as delivery performance and inventory levels, preparing regular status reports
Oversee daily interactions with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and external logistics service providers
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a supply chain, procurement, or operational logistics role
Practical experience working with ERP systems (ideally NetSuite) and solid proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets / Workspace
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; spoken German at a fluent level is required (B2-Level).
Reliable, structured, and hands-on approach to daily operational challenges
Valid EU citizenship is mandatory due to regulatory compliance standards
Resident in the Greater Munich area (Munich or surrounding regions) is required;only local candidates will be taken into account.
