Zusammenfassung

Kidde Deugra Brandschutzsysteme GmbH, part of the Collins Aerospace family, seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen our supply base and monitor performance with autonomy. You’ll work with Inspection, Engineering, and Procurement teams across Ratingen or Heidelberg to ensure quality excellence.

Required are a technical degree, external ISO9001/EN9100 audits, and fluency in English and German. Travel approx. 50% expected; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an advanced technical discipline or several years of equivalent professional experience, ideally in the defense sector.
  • Qualified external ISO9001 and EN 9100 lead auditor
  • Good knowledge of quality tools e.g. 8D, FMEA, APQP, Risk Mgt, FAI, RCCA
  • Very good (business fluent) written and spoken English and German skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a high degree of persuasiveness, assertiveness, and persistence
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working in an international environment
  • Willingness to travel (about 50%)
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team

Aufgaben

  • Primary interface between site quality/operations teams and the central supplier quality organization
  • Support Site Operations, Quality Clinics, Program Management and Tier meetings for business units
  • Represent supplier quality in site and Corrective Action Board (CAB) Reviews
  • Risk management to site through Waivers (QMS/NADCAP), Risk Release Approvals and Containment activity
  • Conducts supplier approval and surveillance activities
  • Verifies that suppliers meet applicable quality requirements from RTX, Collins, customers and regulatory standards for products, processes and systems
  • Internal and external coordination in case of quality deviations and non-conformities, and drive RCCA and problem resolution
  • Manages supplier performance metrics and lead supplier improvement activities
  • Project management of supplier-relevant quality assurance activities
  • Review and release supplier quality documents and reports
  • Support NPI and supplier work-transfer activities
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives (CORE)
  • Location: Ratingen or Heidelberg.

In this role you will work with a high degree of autonomy to strengthen our supply base through structured approval and performance-monitoring activities, while fostering collaborative problem solving in close cooperation with our Inspection, Engineering and Procurement teams.
