Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Recreation Fee Specialist with the National Park Service. This position coordinates the day-to-day operations of a park level fee organization, to include the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fees and donations. Open to the first 100 applicants or until 09/04/2026 whichever comes first. All applications submitted by 11:59 (EST) on the closing day will receive consideration.

Major Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Performs a variety of administrative (two-grade interval) duties that are associated with the management of fee revenue and donations collected from the public under the authority of Federal laws and regulations such as the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA). The incumbent performs assignments in accordance with all regulations governing the handling of government funds and separation of duties. Coordinate the day-to-day operations of a park level fee organization, to include the collection, deposit, tracking, and expenditure of fees and donations. Provide advisory services to internal (e.g., staff, management) and external (e.g., commercial businesses and operators, academic institutions, public municipalities) organizations regarding fee revenue and donations collected for specific fee types and authorities (e.g., entrance, expanded amenity, special recreation permit, special use permit. The incumbent performs assignments in accordance with all regulations governing the handling of government funds and separation of duties.
