The klaus-tschira-stiftung in Heidelberg is looking for a Student Assistant (m/w/d) to support research tasks at HeiGIT. This role offers the opportunity to gain insights into various research topics related to geoinformation technology.
The ideal candidate should have an interest in geoinformatics and some basic experience with Python or R. You will work part-time (8h/week) with flexible hours alongside your studies, in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your responsibilities include literature search, GIS analysis support, and assisting in statistical work. This role not only allows for personal growth but contributes to meaningful research.
HeiGIT (Heidelberg Institute for Geoinformation Technology) conducts research on and with geographic information and makes it freely available for the benefit of the environment and society—for example, for researchers, aid organizations, and associations.
We are looking for a student assistant (8h/week) to support the HeiGIT research team primarily on‑site with both organizational and research related tasks. Research related task will vary over time and will give you the opportunity to get insights into a broad range of topics we work at HeiGIT.
