The Store Experience Manager is fully accountable for profitable growth, exceptional customer experience, and operational excellence of the flagship store. This role blends commercial leadership, luxury clienteling, team development, and operational discipline, ensuring that every customer interaction reflects the highest standards of the Bang & Olufsen brand and РР Playbooks.
Key Responsibilities / Job Functionality
- Own and deliver store P&L performance, revenue targets, product mix, and profitability
- Execute store commercial plans and translate targets into clear actions for the team
- Drive growth of staged solutions, bespoke projects, and high-margin services
- Analyze store performance, customer data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Monitor competitors, pricing, promotions, and local market dynamics
- Ensure best-in-class luxury customer experience across all touchpoints
- Personally engage with HNWI, VIP, and key B2B clients, fostering long-term relationships
- Allocate team time strategically to grow and nurture the active client base week-by-week
- Oversee consultative sales approach: needs analysis, storytelling, demonstrations, and solution design
- Ensure flawless execution of bespoke programs (Atelier, personalization, staged solutions)
- Lead and coach the team to deliver consultative, solution-driven sales
- Ensure disciplined CRM usage, data accuracy, and pipeline management
- Oversee lead registration, follow-ups, offer management, and conversion tracking
- Partner closely with e-Commerce leadership to align online and offline sales journeys
- Drive proactive sales initiatives, events, and private client appointments
- Build, develop, and retain a high-performing retail team
- Ensure every team member maintains expert-level knowledge of B&O products and solutions
- Conduct daily briefings, regular trainings, and on-floor coaching
- Develop and support staff motivation frameworks and KPI systems
- Lead by example in professionalism, service standards, and sales excellence
- Ensure smooth daily store operations, including POS, inventory, and internal processes
- Maintain full compliance with merchandising standards and planograms
- Control stock movement, warehouse balances, turnover, and trade-in processes
- Oversee service workflows: warranty, post-warranty, repairs, and service documentation
- Ensure full alignment with ASBC Playbook, internal policies, and Code of Conduct
- Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting to the Line Manager
- Maintain transparency on sales performance, pipeline health, service KPIs, and risks
- Ensure ethical, compliant, and brand-aligned operations at all times
Job requirements:
- Proven experience managing luxury or premium retail stores
- Strong background in consultative sales, clienteling, and high-value customers
- Demonstrated ability to deliver profitable growth and elevate customer experience
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales teams
- High level of operational discipline and CRM proficiency
- Comfortable working in a flagship environment with demanding clients
- Leads from the floor, not from the office
