Coinbase is building the future of institutional trading within the Markets team. The Market Data Engineer will architect and own real-time market data infrastructure—feed handlers, normalization, and distribution—across Coinbase with low latency and high throughput.

You will lead a lean, high-impact team, collaborate with product and other engineers, and contribute to reliability, observability, and incident response while writing high-quality, well-tested code.

As a Market Data Engineer on the Markets team, you'll architect, build and own the systems that generate, capture, normalize, and distribute real-time market data across Coinbase at low latency - the ticker plant and distribution backbone of a unified trading platform - while leading a lean, high-impact team.
