N26 is seeking a Strategy & Operations Associate for the Grow & Engage domain, centered on the Customer Identity team in Berlin. You will bridge strategy and execution across Risk, MLRO and LYC Operations, translating ambitious goals into KPIs and tangible outcomes.

You will partner with leadership to drive customer value and business growth, own segment strategy, develop business cases, run cross-functional programs end-to-end, and monitor product KPIs and unit economics to optimize performance.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years in fintech, banking, consulting, or B2C startups with growth, funnel optimization, subscriptions, engagement, or product-led growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related field from a top-tier institution.
• Experience building business cases and making data-driven recommendations.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end and collaborating with diverse teams to drive outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving ability to structure analyses and derive insights.

About the opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven Strategy & Operations Associate for our Grow & Engage domain, specifically focusing on the Customer Identity team. This role requires strong alignment across our internal Risk, MLRO and LYC Operations teams.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between strategy and execution, helping N26 grow and run better by translating ambitious goals into clear KPIs and tangible results.In this role, you will be part of a high-impact team that acts as a strategic partner to leadership, driving customer value and business growth across our core revenue lines.

In this role, you will:

• Own and refine segment strategy, enabling data-driven trade-offs across Engagement and Subscriptions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, developing a deep understanding of business drivers, infrastructure, and processes.
• Drive KPI discipline, leading regular performance reviews and ensuring progress against core company targets.
• Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, proactively assessing performance and uncovering areas for innovation and efficiency.
• Build robust business cases, evaluating ROI and guiding investment toward the highest-impact initiatives.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives end-to-end, ensuring strong project management, clear ownership, timely delivery, and continuous optimization.
• Monitor performance and optimize outcomes, including product KPIs, unit economics, and external partner delivery against SLAs.
• Act as the central connector across teams and partners, aligning stakeholders (Product, Tech, Data, Growth, Finance, etc.), resolving blockers, and driving execution on complex, high-impact topics.

What you need to be successful:

Background:

• Minimum of 3 years, preferably in fintech, banking, consulting, or B2C startup environments working with some of these topics: growth, funnel optimization, subscription models, customer engagement, product-led growth.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Mathematics, or related field from a top-tier institution.
• You have experience putting together business cases and making data-driven recommendations.
• You have experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end (from ideation to execution) and collaborating with diverse teams to drive strategic outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving ability to structure and define analyses to draw innovative conclusions.

Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently source data and derive insights.
• Effective visualization and storytelling skills for presenting insights.
• Interest and curiosity for the banking/fintech industry.
• Fluent in English.
