Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced backend engineer in Germany to develop and evolve scalable Java backends within the Corporate Financial Management domain. You will design and implement microservices in AWS, collaborating with a hybrid squad that includes autonomous AI agents and multidisciplinary teams.

You will apply SD D, Progressive Disclosure, and AI-driven design while ensuring code quality, testing, and performance monitoring in production.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years backend development experience with Java.
• Strong microservices and RESTful API design.
• Extensive AWS experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud.

• Design, implement and maintain scalable, resilient microservices in AWS cloud environments using modern architectural patterns.

• Build synchronous and asynchronous integrations using AWS services.
• Contribute to the design of generative AI solutions, including building and orchestrating autonomous AI agents.
• Apply Spec-Driven Development (SDD), Skills definition and Progressive Disclosure when designing and implementing AI-driven solutions.
• Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews and software engineering best practices.
• Mentor other developers and disseminate backend development best practices that leverage agentic AI.
• Continuously monitor and improve application observability and performance in production.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java, including best practices, design patterns and object-oriented programming
• Solid experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• Strong knowledge of AWS services
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and AWS integration libraries
• Experience with synchronous and asynchronous communication, messaging and event-driven architecture
• Experience developing software with AI, including building and orchestrating AI agents
• Practical knowledge of SDD (Spec-Driven Development), Progressive Disclosure, Skills and Harness Engineering in agentic generative AI solutions
• Practical knowledge of BMAD, OpenSpec, Spec Kit and LangGraph
• Practical knowledge of integrations with MCPs
• Knowledge of different AI models and strategies for efficient consumption of tokens/ACUs
• Good teaching skills to disseminate genAI knowledge
• Hands-on experience with Git and GitHub, pull requests, code reviews and collaborative versioning
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, DEVIN, Claude Code or Cursor AI
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban and CI/CD
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with Java
• Nice to have: projects with generative AI in production, experience in financial institutions/fintechs or corporate (PJ) products, AWS/Java/cloud certifications and certifications in generative AI
