Being a Solutions Engineering Consultant at CONVALID Analytics you are a consultant, software engineer and data engineer at the same time. You integrate these areas to deliver seamless solutions alongside our clients. At CONVALID Analytics you are at the edge of implementing state-of-the-art data science and AI solutions to create business impact. From prototypes to production systems you accompany our clients on their journey to implementing data-driven solutions.

In each of these three core areas we require a set of skills to be fulfilled. Please note that the information hereafter depicts a perfect fit. Your Consulting Skills

• You define core problems together with the client and translate them into technical requirements.
• You will be in close contact throughout the entire project, adapting the project to new information.
• You have strong storytelling skills and preparing and presenting results to higher management is no problem for you.
• You identify new potential use cases and build sustainable client relationships.

Your Software Engineering Skills

• You are fluent in Python and working with libraries like SqlAlchemy, Pydantic, FastAPI, and Langchain poses no problem for you.
• You write well-structured code and use architecture patterns to help you keep track of large projects.
• You strive for high code quality and are not afraid to check it with linters.
• You can confidently deploy your built software in Docker containers.
• You test your code with Pytest which is an integral part of your programming workflow.
• You can translate cumbersome tasks into clean CI/CD workflows using Git.
• You convert data science notebooks into maintanable and robust production code.

Your Data Engineering Skills

• You handle databases effortlessly using SQL and have a wish for fast performance.
• You use ORMs to create a seamless connection between the backend and database is a common practice
• You already gained experience on a large cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• You have already gained experience in NLP and LLMs like GPT-3.5, GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Llama 2 or similar models.

Minimal Requirements

Your salary is based on the experience you bring with you. For junior positions, we currently offer a starting salary of €66,000 per year. We will be happy to inform you personally about salaries for more senior positions.
