Your Impact

Axon is seeking a Professional Services Manager to join a brand-new team supporting our growing customer base with Axon product deployments primarily in DACH and occasionally in wider EMEA. The role sits between Sales and BAU, requiring broad technical knowledge, product implementation experience and a customer-focused attitude. You will become an expert in Axon’s SaaS and devices products, consultation and deployment programs, and collaborate with Professional Services, Sales, Training, Customer Support, Customer Success and Product teams to ensure a positive and successful implementation experience for customers, thereby strengthening partnerships. You will often manage multiple high-priority, deadline-driven projects and, as a regional SME, help design and improve Professional Services processes related to consultation and implementation in the EMEA region.

Your primary objective is to delight the customer by implementing Axon’s network of solutions and products, aligning with customer expectations and delivering quality and value early in their lifecycle by being Sharp, Adaptable and Unstoppable.

Your Day to Day
  • Engage with clients pre-sale to implement Trial and Evaluation programs with Axon products; collaborate internally on RFP/RFI responses.
  • Liaise with clients post-sale and coordinate across internal functions and external vendors to develop project documentation including deployment plans and SOWs.
  • Travel to customer sites; consult with clients post-sale to coordinate deployment tasks.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot and test Axon hardware products and software solutions (cloud and on-prem) at customer sites or remotely; perform assessments to meet customer needs.
  • Provide knowledge transfer through technical training, consultation and demonstrations; customize and localize materials.
  • Serve as the main point of contact during deployment and hyper-care to ensure positive engagement with Axon and our products.
  • Validate product updates and releases to ensure a successful customer experience; monitor release notes.
  • Ensure implementations comply with local laws and regulations, particularly data protection and privacy (e.g., GDPR). Advocate for and apply industry best practices.
  • Submit software bugs and feature requests to product teams for assessment and resolution.
  • Self-manage and work autonomously, escalating issues as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, customer support, customer success and commercial ops teams.
  • Share knowledge with peers and Axon channel partners in your region; coordinate on changes, timelines and project status.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT/Business or 3+ years in IT Consultancy, Professional Services, Field Services or Sales Engineering.
  • German speaker; other European languages are a plus. English proficiency is essential.
  • Advanced understanding of IT/Networking concepts including Windows Server and Client OS, SQL Server, Active Directory, Azure Entra ID, APIs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and related areas.
  • Experience in a SaaS and hardware/software company with knowledge in at least one of: Mobile Device Management, Mobile Applications & Communications, Digital Video, Body Worn Cameras, Digital Evidence Management, Forensic Analysis Tools, or related fields.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical problems; familiarity with remote and on-site installation and configuration.
  • Experience consulting to meet customer needs and delivering product demonstrations and training to groups.
  • Proven ability to manage a varied portfolio of implementations and engage/manage relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Adaptable to continual product or process changes; capable of multitasking and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Zoom, Teams and JIRA; Cisco/Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus; drone or vehicle electronics certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain Drone Pilot Certifications and/or Vehicle Electronics Certifications if required.
  • Experience working with law enforcement or public sector clients is a plus.
