Bosch Energy and Building Solutions is seeking a senior enterprise solution architect to shape cloud strategy and drive end-to-end Azure architectures. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to translate business goals into scalable technical solutions.

Ideal candidates have deep Azure knowledge, experience with microservices and IaC, and a proven track record of leading architecture reviews in large enterprises.

• Define and drive end-to-end cloud solution architecture for product-agnostic digital services across the 2026-2027 roadmap.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, operations, and security teams to translate business initiatives into scalable technical solutions.
• - Design secure, reliable, and cost-effective architectures on Azure, including compute, networking, storage, data, integration, and AI services.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, reference patterns, and governance checkpoints aligned with enterprise architecture guidelines.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical risk assessments, and design decisions across multiple parallel programs.
• Enable event-driven and microservices-based solution designs that support interoperability, reuse, and long-term maintainability.
• Support implementation teams with solution guidance, architecture artifacts, and decision records from inception to delivery.
• Drive cloud optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency, service reliability, and total cost of ownership.
• Coach solution architects and engineering teams, and contribute to architecture community practices and capability building.

Education

Extensive professional experience in enterprise solution architecture, software engineering, or a comparable technical discipline, gained in complex, large-scale enterprise environments,or an equivalent qualification.

Experience and Knowledge

• Deep knowledge of Azure Cloud Platform and infrastructure services (compute, networking, storage, identity, security, monitoring, and DevOps).
• Strong understanding of solution architecture frameworks and methods (for example, arc42), including architecture documentation and review practices.
• Hands-on experience with microservices, service-oriented and event-driven architecture patterns.
• Strong software engineering background in Java, .NET, or similar technology stacks; ability to engage effectively with development teams.
• Practical experience with Linux-based environments and cloud operations.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code and automation practices (for example, ARM, Bicep, Pulumi, CI/CD pipelines).
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, resilience, and operational excellence in large-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience in AI/ML and IoT-enabled solution contexts is highly desirable.

Qualification

Proven experience in enterprise solution architecture with strong focus on cloud-native platforms and distributed systems.

Personality and Working Practice

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor architects and engineers, and communicate with senior stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a track record of driving measurable business outcomes (cost optimization, efficiency, and reliability improvements).

Languages

Fluent in English and good command of German.
