XXXLdigital, the digital unit of XXXL Group, designs software for a leading furniture retailer and drives omni-channel experiences. We seek a Professional Solution Architect to own domain architectures, steer technology choices, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise guidelines.

You will translate business needs into robust architectures, lead strategic projects, and collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• 4 years of experience in solution/domain architecture or related role
• Strong technical background with hands-on software development experience is a plus
• Experience with integration architecture and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
• Experience with heterogeneous enterprise systems (PIM, logistics, pricing)
• Excellent stakeholder management and structured communication
• Familiarity with scaled agile environments and German/English proficiency

• Translate business requirements into clear, well-structured architectures aligned with enterprise guidelines
• Support Domain Lead by aligning domain goals with the architecture roadmap to enable scalable, resilient solutions

That's Your Daily Business

• You are responsible for owning and developing the architecture of a complete domain, steering its direction based on business goals, technology choices and business priorities
• You translate business requirements into clear, well-structured solution architectures and ensure they align with our enterprise guidelines and principles.
• You will support the Domain Lead and relevant stakeholders by aligning the domain's goals and vision with the architecture roadmap, to drive scalable, sustainable, and resilient solutions
• You take the architectural lead in strategic projects, defining and steering the domain architecture to ensure new solutions seamlessly integrate into the existing application landscape and support the evolution of the domain
• You actively participate in ensuring project work and application of the architectural and design patterns, navigating a heterogeneous system environment and maintaining clarity on integrations, interfaces, and technology decisions

That's You

• Around 4 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, or a related architectural role
• A solid technical background, ideally supported by hands-on software development experience, enabling a strong bottom-up understanding
• Experience with integration architecture, application landscapes and the application of architecture patterns in complex environments, including knowledge in cloud computing platforms such as Azure and GCP
• Experience working with heterogeneous system landscapes such as Product Information Management systems, logistic systems, pricing systems or similar enterprise applications
• Strong stakeholder management skills: you communicate clearly, argue convincingly, and remain calm and structured in challenging project situations.
• Familiarity with project-driven environments; experience in a scaled agile setup is an advantage
• Business-level English and conversational German proficiency are required (Project/Product language is German)
