vitagroup AG is seeking a Solution Architect (m/f/d) to join the Technology Consulting & Engineering team. The role is 100% remote and full-time, focusing on designing solutions based on the Health Intelligence Platform (HIP) for healthcare customers.

You will work close to customers, translate requirements into technical concepts, and guide architecture decisions across clinical and IT teams. The position offers diverse responsibilities from pre‑sales to implementation and ongoing

Qualifikationen

• Degree in (medical) informatics, computer science, or comparable qualification.
• Experience in healthcare or related industries.
• Ability to translate ideas into technical concepts for implementation.
• Experience with clinical systems (integration engines, HIS, lab systems, or FHIR servers).
• Knowledge of HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR, or openEHR.
• Flexibility to work in changing roles and project contexts.
• Willingness to travel mainly within the German-speaking region.
• Fluent German and English with clear technical communication.

Aufgaben

• Design solutions based on the vitagroup HIP platform as a technology expert.
• Work close to the customer—remotely and on site—and align with clinical and IT teams.
• Advise stakeholders on open platform strategy and interoperability topics.
• Own the solution architecture in development projects and support delivery with PM.
• Build prototypes, proofs of concept and reference implementations to accelerate decisions.
• Support customers in integrating HIP into existing infrastructures and maintain extensions.
• Take on flexibly changing roles from pre-sales through architecture to operations.
• Deliver talks, trainings, and customer workshops around HIP and feed insights back to product teams.

• You support customers, partners and internal teams as a technology expert in designing solutions based on the vitagroup Health Intelligence Platform (HIP)
• You work close to the customer - remotely and on site - understand their clinical and technical starting position and develop solutions together with the customer's clinical and IT teams
• You advise external and internal stakeholders on developing concrete solution approaches based on our open platform strategy and on interoperability topics
• In development projects, you own the solution architecture and support delivery together with the project manager
• You build prototypes, proofs of concept and reference implementations to demonstrate feasibility early and accelerate decisions
• You support our customers in integrating our solution into existing infrastructures and in maintaining and extending technical integrations
• Within the team, you take on flexibly changing roles - from technical consulting in pre-sales through architecture and implementation to support in operations
• You give talks and training sessions and lead customer workshops around HIP - and feed insights from your projects into the further development of the platform

What you bring along

• You hold a degree in (medical) informatics, computer science, or a comparable qualification or several years of IT experience in healthcare
• You bring knowledge of healthcare or related industries and have a basic understanding of medical contexts
• You enjoy translating ideas and requirements into technical implementation concepts and can convince customers and partners of them
• You have experience with clinical systems, e.g. integration engines, hospital information systems, laboratory systems or FHIR servers
• You have knowledge in medical communication standards such as HL7 v2, HL7 FHIR oropenEHR
• You bring the flexibility to work in changing roles and project contexts and adapt quickly to new customers, topics and technologies
• You are willing to travel for customer assignments as required by the project - mainly within the German-speaking region
• You communicate technical content clearly, work in a structured, solution-oriented and collaborative way and speak fluent German and English
