Zusammenfassung

ZEISS Hunting & Nature is seeking a Software Test Automation Developer to design and implement automated test software for WebApp, Embedded Systems, and Azure-Cloud/AI. You will build and maintain test frameworks to enable reusable automation across projects.

Join a cross-functional Scrum team, ensure coverage of requirements with automated tests, and drive CI/CD enhancements on Azure DevOps. A CS degree and hands-on automation experience are essential, with English fluency strongly preferred.

Qualifikationen

• A completed degree in computer science (or similar experience).
• ISTQB FL/Test Automation Engineer is a plus.
• Several years of experience in (agile) software development (Embedded systems/Linux).
• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise.
• Experience in programming, preferably Python.
• Demonstrable experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Robot Framework or similar.
• Familiar with CI/CD processes and their integration into the test cycle.

Your Role

• Responsibility for designing and implementing automated test software (e.g. WebApp, Embedded Systems/Linux/Azure-Cloud/AI)

• Developing and maintaining test frameworks and infrastructures to enable test automation for re-use in multiple target projects

• Making sure requirements and specifications are covered by automated test cases

• Executing automated tests, monitoring test runs and analyzing the results. Keeping the automated tests up to date with software changes.

• Development, expansion and automation of CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps

• Being part of a scrum team consisting of internal and external members and communicating identified issues with the development team

Your Profile

• A completed degree in computer science (or similar experience)

• Ideally qualification as a ISTQB® FL/Test Automation Engineer

• Several years of experience in (agile) software development (preferably for Embedded systems/Linux)

• In-depth knowledge of Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise

• Experience in programming, preferably in scripting languages such as Python

• Demonstrable experience in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Robot Framework or similar

• Familiar with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes and their integration into the test cycle

• Independent way of working and the motivation to proactively find solutions to challenges in test automation

• Strong communication, cooperation and teamwork skills make you a real team player

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, German is a plus
