IntuitionApplied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a software integration engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of our newest product. You will work across software and hardware to ensure a seamless system integration for customers.

You will interact with customers onsite, collaborate with product, software, mechanical, and electrical teams, and develop a deep understanding of the full system. The role emphasizes testing, validation, and reliable integration.

We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their the company Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

About the role

We are looking for a software integration engineer who can champion the delivery of features in our newest product. This involves working across software and hardware to ensure that the full system is integrated together seamlessly when it needs to be delivered to the customer.

At the company Intuition, you will

• Directly interact with the customers at the customer site to identify the target use-cases, then manage the project to complete the integration
• Work cross-functionally with the product, software, mechanical and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems
• Develop a deep understanding of the entire system architecture and how the software and hardware components interact
• Design and bring up test rigs needed for end-to-end testing and validation of system performance
• Test and troubleshoot integration between various components to ensure reliability

We are looking for someone who has

• An understanding of electronic systems and how how to setup and debug them
• Experience with developing or testing software applications
• Software development experience in Python or C/C++
• Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting

Nice to have

• Experience interacting with customers to deliver projects that meet their requirements
• Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc)
• Familiarity with developing software for embedded systems
• Skills in other adjacent areas (CAD/3D printing, PCB design, etc)
