Advantest in Germany is seeking a Software Integration & CI Expert to ensure the stability and quality of our software integration, build, and delivery workflows. You will work with global development teams to integrate changes, analyze results, resolve integration issues, and improve engineering toolchains.

The role requires a strong background in Java or C++, expertise in CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and experience with modern build systems.

As a Software Integration & CI Expert (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the stability and quality of our software integration process. You will work closely with development teams around the world to integrate software changes, analyze build and test results, resolve integration issues, and help continuously improve our engineering workflows and toolchain.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Good software development skills in Java or C++.
• Very good understanding of Git-based development workflows, pull requests, branching strategies (e.g. trunk-based development, GitFlow, feature branching, …), and merge conflict resolution.
• Experience with modern build systems such as Bazel, Maven or CMake.
• Strong background in CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Good knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python, Groovy and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software development, testing, integration, troubleshooting and automation workflows.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Passion for software quality, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
• Very good English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Confluence and Jira.
• Experience working with large-scale software products and distributed development organizations.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and software quality engineering.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe development methodologies.
• Experience in semiconductor testing or the semiconductor industry.
