Airbus Defence and Space GmbH is seeking a Software Fullstack Developer & Architect to join the team for upcoming and existing projects with German and international customers.

You will design scalable software architectures spanning frontend, backend and data layers, and lead fullstack development with a focus on robust APIs, data models, and secure design. This role requires collaboration with Product Owners and engineering teams in a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor or Master in Systems Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as software architect or similar role in dynamic environments.
• Strong knowledge of designing scalable software architectures including microservices and cloud-based solutions.
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and stakeholder management.
• Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Create scalable and secure software architectures spanning frontend, backend and data layers.
• Develop UI and robust server-side logic, APIs and databases, leveraging modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and requirement engineers; document in Confluence.
• Model software requirements using Cameo Modelling or similar tools.
• Design high-level architectures with defined components, modules and interfaces.
• Select suitable technologies, frameworks and design patterns (e.g., microservices, REST APIs).
• Communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders, developers and testers.
• Identify technical risks in software design and track in Jira for resolution.
• Coordinate with VVT teams to ensure architecture supports testable requirements.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortungsbereiche

• Systemdesign: Sie erstellen skalierbare und sichere Softwarearchitekturen, die Frontend, Backend und Datenbankebenen umfassen.
• Fullstack-Programmierung: Sie entwickeln Benutzeroberflächen sowie robuste Serverlogik, APIs und Datenbanken, mit Einsatz von KI SDLC tools.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Stakeholdern, Product Ownern und Anforderungsingenieuren zur Erhebung und Analyse von Softwareanforderungen; Dokumentation in Confluence.
• Modellierung von Softwareanforderungen mit Cameo Modelling oder ähnlichen Tools.
• Design von hochrangigen Softwarearchitekturen unter Definition von Komponenten, Modulen und Schnittstellen.
• Auswahl geeigneter Technologien, Frameworks und Entwurfsmuster (z. B. Microservices, REST-APIs).
• Kommunikation architektonischer Entscheidungen gegenüber Stakeholdern, Entwicklern und Testern zur Sicherstellung der Ausrichtung auf die Projektziele.
• Identifikation technischer Risiken im Softwaredesign oder bei der Implementierung und deren Erfassung in Jira zur Verfolgung und Lösung.
• Zusammenarbeit mit den Verifikations-, Validierungs- und Testteams (VVT), um sicherzustellen, dass die Architektur testbare Anforderungen unterstützt.

Gesuchte Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen

• Ausbildung: Bachelor- oder Masterabschluss in Systemtechnik (Systems Engineering) oder einem verwandten Fachgebiet.
• Erfahrung: Nachgewiesene Erfahrung als Softwarearchitekt oder in einer ähnlichen Rolle in der Softwareentwicklung, vorzugsweise in agilen Umgebungen oder im System Engineering.
• Umfassende Kenntnisse im Design und in der Implementierung komplexer Softwaresysteme, einschließlich Microservices, Cloud-basierter oder Enterprise-Anwendungen.
• Kenntnisse agiler Methodologien, insbesondere Scrum und SAFe, sind von Vorteil.
• Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in Entscheidungsfindung und Problemlösung.
• Starke Organisationstalent und hohes Maß an Selbstmotivation.
• Fähigkeit, Teammitglieder zu motivieren und anzuspornen.
• Flexibilität und Anpassungsfähigkeit an sich ändernde Projektanforderungen.
• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten für Reporting und Stakeholder-Management.
