Delivery Hero, a leading global local delivery platform headquartered in Berlin, seeks a Software Engineer - Golang to join the Adtech Retention team. You will help create next-generation services that empower advertisers with data-driven insights, working in an international Berlin-based office with hybrid work options.

You will contribute to software architecture, build scalable systems with high concurrency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of Golang experience with distributed systems background.
• Hands-on with RESTful and/or gRPC services; microservices in Kubernetes.
• Experience in agile environments and large-scale apps.
• Professional experience with AWS or GCP; infrastructure with Terraform/Helm.

We are on the lookout for a (Software) Engineer - Golang to join our Adtech Retention team.

Contribute to the creation/improvement of our next-generation services, which provide actionable insights to our advertiser consumers, empowering them to make real, data-driven decisions that contribute to the growth of our adtech business. Qualifications

• Golang & Distributed Systems Expertise -- 2 years of experience in Golang, with a strong foundational understanding of distributed systems and services.
• Backend & Microservices Development -- Hands-on experience in implementing RESTful and/or gRPC services, building and maintaining microservices with Kubernetes, and following best practices for inter-service communication.
• Large-Scale Applications & Agile Methodologies -- 2 years of experience working on software applications with experience in agile environments.
• Cloud & Infrastructure -- Professional experience or familiarity with AWS or GCP, and infrastructure management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
• Software Engineering Excellence -- Strong Computer Science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design) with a focus on high-quality code, automated testing, and best practices.
• High sense of onus, collaborative and excellent communicator.

Nice to Have:

• Infrastructure & Observability -- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Drone, Spinnaker) and monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, distributed tracing).
• Messaging & Caching -- Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Database & Architecture Expertise -- Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, ACID principles, indexing), event-driven architecture, as well as familiarity with BigQuery and data pipelines.
