Job Summary

We are looking for a high-caliber Software Engineer to own the infrastructure and deployment lifecycle of our platform. This isn't a traditional siloed DevOps role; you will be a generalist who understands the full stack but finds your "flow state" in optimizing how code reaches production. You will be responsible for ensuring our systems remain secure, scalable, and resilient across diverse customer environments. Key Responsibilities

• Own the platform infrastructure, from deployment and uptime to long-term security architecture.
• Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, high-velocity code shipping.
• Manage cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization strategies.
• Work directly with core engineers to bridge the gap between feature development and production reliability.
• Debug complex system-level issues across the entire stack—when something breaks, you are the one to find the root cause and fix it permanently.
• Champion a high bar for engineering quality, ensuring no shortcuts are taken in the pursuit of speed.

Qualifications

• Strong Computer Science foundation with a versatile, generalist mindset.
• Professional proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Hands‑on experience with modern cloud infrastructure and containerization.
• A deep preference for DevOps and infrastructure‑related engineering challenges.
• Absolute ownership mentality: you take full responsibility for your domain and see tasks through to completion.
• Uncompromising standards for code quality and system reliability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Alignment with a high‑intensity, in‑person culture (Berlin office, 6 days a week).
• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, and alerting frameworks from scratch.
• Background working at an early‑stage startup where you helped build processes where none existed.
• Experience deploying LLM‑based products or operating in highly regulated enterprise environments (FinTech, InsurTech, etc.).
