Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for our global SaaS platform. You will collaborate with engineering teams to implement cloud-native SRE practices and improve monitoring and automation.

You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and SaltStack, participate in on-call rotations, address reliability risks, and contribute to infrastructure hardening and security in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifikationen

• SRE experience in designing and operating reliable systems.
• Experience in DevOps or software development roles within a cloud environment.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tooling.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative, and English fluent (German a plus).

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• Solid experience in SRE, DevOps, or software development roles
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or GCP are also valuable)
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code and automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Argo CD, SaltStack)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell and bash)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgresDB, MS SQL, MySQL, Cassandra) is a plus but not mandatory
• Basic understanding of microservice environments, networking, and security (infrastructure hardening)
• A proactive mindset, willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach
• Fluency in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
