Novotech is recruiting a Site Contracts Associate in Germany to ensure site contracts comply with legal rules and internal guidelines while supporting start-up and maintenance of clinical trials.

You will review and amend Clinical Trial Agreements with sites, coordinating with Project Management, Regulatory/Start-up, Clinical Operations, Finance and Legal teams to ensure timely execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, law or other).
• Good knowledge of the clinical trials industry and legal requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in site contract negotiation and finalisation (1-2 years) or CRA/Paralegal (2-4 years).

• Understand which Clinical Trial Agreement template is used for specific sites and countries.
• Independent review and amendment of Clinical Trial Agreements within agreed parameters.
• Escalate CTAs outside of agreed parameters as required.

• Work closely with Project Management, Regulatory/Start-up, Clinical Operations, Finance and Legal teams.
• Serve as liaison between Sites and Novotech under oversight of Legal Counsel and Project Manager.
• Consult with Sites, Study Team, Internal Team and Clients as required.
• Facilitate the execution of contracts by company signatories.
• Review and analyse risk to Novotech and/or Client and escalate as necessary.

The Site Contracts Associate (SCA) is responsible for ensuring that site contracts follow all relevant legal rules, internal guidelines and agreed negotiation parameters with clients. The Site Contracts Associate will review and amend contracts (specifically Clinical Trial Agreements) with sites in order to facilitate orderly start-up and maintenance of clinical trials.

The Site Contracts Associate will work closely with Project Management, Regulatory/Start-up, Clinical Operations, Finance and Legal teams to ensure the review and execution of properly drafted Clinical Trial Agreements contracts. The Site Contracts Associate will work closely with the study team, internal team and with clients (if delegated) ensure that Site Clinical Trial Agreement (CTA) contracts are accurately drafted, reviewed, and executed in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will be professional, analytical and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a cohesive working relationship with Sites.

• Serves as key communication liaison between Sites and Novotech under the oversight of Legal Counsel and Project Manager.
• Consult and collaborate with Sites, Study Team, Internal Team and Clients as required.
• Facilitates the execution of contracts by company signatories.
• Reviews and analyses any risk to Novotech and/or Client and escalates to SCA/CCS Line Manager, Finance or Legal Counsel as necessary.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and organised professional who can effectively support multiple project activities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

You will ideally have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (science, law or other)
• Good knowledge of clinical trials industry
• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures
• Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Business acumen
• Ability to work collaboratively or individually in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proven experience of site contract negotiation and finalisation as a Site Contracts Associate or equivalent role (at least 1-2 years' experience required), Clinical Research Associate or Paralegal (at least 2-4 years' experience required).

Salary Band - SCA : 50,000 - 65,000 Euros. Salary offered will be based on the candidate's experience level.
