Neura Robotics seeks an engineer to size electric machines electromagnetically and to optimize torque density, efficiency, and noise behavior.

You will perform electromagnetic sizing (FEM) and simulations using tools like Ansys Maxwell, JMAG, and Motor-CAD, while improving performance maps and coordinating with controls and thermal sizing. A strong analytical mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or physics.
• Experience in electromagnetic FEM simulation of electric machines.
• Knowledge of motor topologies (PMSM, BLDC) and their sizing.
• Scripting skills (Python, MATLAB) are a plus.
• Analytical, results-oriented way of working.

The Simulation team calculates the drives, gearboxes, and structures of our robots before the first prototype exists. Using FEM, CFD, and multibody simulations, it secures performance, service life, and noise behavior.

Your mission & challenges

You size our electric machines electromagnetically and optimize them for torque density, efficiency, and noise behavior.
