Zusammenfassung

EPAM Systems in Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich, Germany, seeks a Senior Systems Architect to lead AI-first, cloud-native design across enterprise clients in a hybrid setup. You will guide architecture roadmaps, governance, and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable GenAI and cloud solutions leveraging Google Cloud.

The role requires deep GCP expertise, 10+ years in solution architecture within financial services, and strong client advisory skills. Travel within Germany is expected as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, platform engineering or enterprise IT.
• Minimum 5 years in the financial services domain with focus on digital transformation.
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and modern architecture principles.
• Proven experience designing AI-native applications and enterprise GenAI solutions, especially with Gemini Enterprise and Agent Platforms.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices, CI/CD and agile delivery methodologies.

We're looking for a Senior Systems Architect – Financial Services (m/f/d) to join our team in Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich Germany in a hybrid working mode. In this strategic role, you will lead architecture design for AI-first, cloud-native solutions leveraging Google Cloud technologies. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping shape technology roadmaps, define enterprise architectures and ensure successful execution of large-scale digital transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business consulting skills to influence solution strategy and drive measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with clients, Google representatives and multidisciplinary delivery teams to transform emerging AI and cloud technologies into resilient, production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, platform engineering or enterprise IT
• Minimum 5 years in the financial services domain with focus on digital transformation
• Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform and modern architecture principles
• Proven experience designing AI-native applications and enterprise GenAI solutions, especially with Gemini Enterprise and Agent Platforms
• Experience turning AI prototypes into enterprise-grade solutions, including validation and production readiness approaches
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices, CI/CD and agile delivery methodologies
• Hands-on knowledge of governance frameworks and security models for cloud-native platforms
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage C-level stakeholders and technical teams
• Fluent in German and English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Ability to travel as required

• Experience delivering Agentic AI or RAG-based enterprise solutions
• Familiarity with regulated environments and security-driven designs
• GCP Professional certifications (Cloud Architect, Data Engineer, ML Engineer)
