Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administration Support (Windows OS) for the RCC-E program in Wiesbaden, Germany. You will administer Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, MECM, and Hyper-V to meet Army IT standards.

The role requires DoD IT certifications, US citizenship, and an active SECRET clearance, with a strong focus on RMF artifacts and ATO readiness. On-site work in Wiesbaden is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Admin plus 8 years relevant experience; or Associate's degree +10 years; or 12 years in lieu.
• Must meet TESA Qualification.
• DoD 8140 - IT System Administrator Advanced certs: one active cert (MS 365 Admin Expert, or SOC Analyst, or Azure Architect, or Windows Server Hybrid Admin).
• Minimum 4 years Microsoft Server OS experience.
• Minimum 2 years with Microsoft Server products (MSSQL, Hyper-V, Live Communications).
• Minimum 2 years with U.S. military C2 or commercial LAN/WAN systems.
• U.S. citizenship required; Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Administration Support (Windows OS) with the Regional Cyber Center-Europe program.

Location: On-site, Wiesbaden, Germany

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across multiple RCC-E enclaves (NIPR/SIPR), including server builds, role configuration, performance tuning, and lifecycle management in accordance with Army IT standards
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy infrastructure, including domain controller administration, GPO design and enforcement, OU structure management, and integration with enterprise identity and access management systems
• Administer Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for software deployment, OS imaging, patch management, and hardware/software inventory across the enterprise Windows environment
• Implement and track IAVA patch compliance and STIG remediation across all managed Windows systems, coordinating with the ISSM/ISSO to maintain ATO status and support continuous monitoring requirements
• Manage Hyper-V virtualization infrastructure including VM provisioning, live migration, failover clustering, and capacity planning to support enterprise application hosting and disaster recovery objectives
• Develop and maintain RMF documentation and system security artifacts, including SSPs, hardware/software baselines, and POA&Ms, ensuring all Windows systems maintain current authorization status

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Business Administration and 8 years of relevant experience; Associate's degree + 10 years specialized experience; OR 12 years of relevant, specialized experience in lieu of the bachelors degree.
• Must meet TESA Qualification.
• DoD 8140 - IT (System Administrator) - Advanced
  Certifications - must hold one active certification (one of the following):
  Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert; OR
  Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate; OR
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert; OR
  Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• Minimum of 4 years of Microsoft Server OS experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with Microsoft Server products (MSSQL, Hyper-V, Live Communications)
• Minimum of 2 years with U.S. military C2 or commercial LAN/WAN systems
• U.S. citizenship required
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred:

• Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation of administrative tasks, compliance reporting, and system health monitoring
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) OSD task sequences, software packaging, and compliance baselines
• Proficiency with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) for enterprise monitoring, alerting, and performance dashboards
• Experience with Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), ADFS, and hybrid identity management in DoD cloud environments
• Knowledge of PKI administration, certificate lifecycle management, and DoD CAC/PIV integration
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration including database maintenance, backup/restore, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with DISA STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), and automated remediation workflows
• Experience with Windows Server fail-over clustering, DFS replication, and enterprise storage integration

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
