Rosenxt Creation Center GmbH seeks a Senior System Architect to design the end-to-end architecture for our EMAT flow sensor. You will own hardware, software, and AI/signal processing, guiding cross-functional teams across international locations to deliver cohesive, compliant solutions.

The role requires 10+ years in complex sensor or embedded systems, strong data science and cloud experience, and fluency in German and English. Flexible hours and an emphasis on innovative R&D await in Lohne.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience in system architecture design.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Embedded Systems, or Computer Engineering.
• 10+ years in sensor systems, measurement tech or embedded systems.
• Knowledge of data science, ML, and data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with EU/international standards (EMC, LVD, RED, ATEX, IEC 61508) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive project approach.
• Excellent German and English communication, both written and spoken.
• Experience with distributed cross-functional teams.
• Experience in embedded software development (C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premise solutions.
• PM knowledge is a plus.

To strengthen our development team in Wietmarschen-Lohne we are looking for a Senior System Architect (all genders welcome) - Upstream Optimization. Upstream Optimization is an innovative business unit of the Rosenxt Group, spun off in 2023 to drive expansion into new business areas. We focus on developing advanced technologies to optimize energy production. Our state-of-the-art flow sensor is a non-intrusive clamp-on system that collects extensive real-time operational process data. To analyze this data, we develop cloud-based software solutions that combine classic signal processing algorithms with artificial intelligence (AI). In our interdisciplinary, agile, and autonomous teams, we drive innovation and customer value forward.

What you can expect

• Design and own the system architecture for our EMAT flow sensor, with a focus on hardware, software, and AI/signal processing
• Develop a coherent overall solution aligned with holistic product requirements
• Guide development teams based on the end-to-end system architecture (hardware, software, and cloud application)
• Work closely with the Product Owner to embed technical requirements into the system architecture
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, presenting architecture decisions and results
• Help define product and service requirements together with customer-facing teams and derive appropriate action plans
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Derive specifications for system components
• Integrate and test the overall system
• Help shape agile collaboration and communication across all teams involved

What you bring

• Extensive experience in system architecture design
• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience developing complex sensor systems, measurement technology, or embedded systems, ideally in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and data analysis tools
• Familiarity with relevant European and international standards and directives (EMC, LVD, RED, CRA, ATEX, and ideally IEC 61508 / functional safety) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling project challenges
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
• Experience working with distributed, cross-functional teams across international locations
• Experience in technical project ownership or system/software architecture
• Experience in embedded software development (C/C++, RTOS, Embedded Linux) and in designing software architectures for electronics platforms
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, as well as on-premise solutions
• Project management knowledge is a plus
