casavi is seeking a software engineer to join a cross-functional team. You will develop applications using Python, TypeScript, React, and AWS, balancing backend and frontend work to deliver high-quality features.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and the Scrum Master to plan, architect, and implement scalable, reliable software that enhances customer productivity. A strong emphasis on code quality and developer experience is required.

Responsibilities

• You are part of one of our cross-functional product teams, developing software that improves our customers’ daily productivity
• With your team, you plan, architect & develop applications within the team’s tech stack, which includes Python, Rest API, MongoDB, Kubernetes, Docker, Git/GitLab, Flask, React and Node.js in TypeScript, running on AWS
• You work closely with Product Owners, Designers & the team’s Scrum Master to create high-quality features that delight our customers
• You collaborate closely with fellow developers to build lasting, scalable, highly available, and reliable technical solutions, ensuring the overall excellence of our software platform
• You think outside the box and bring your ideas to improve our product or increase our developer experience to the table

You know the ins & outs of Python, and, ideally, have a good idea about TypeScript, Node.js, and React. You are a strong communicator, and your English is at a very good level (>C1). You write well-structured, efficient and maintainable code and actively keep the quality of the code base in check. You have working experience with building cloud applications on AWS. You feel equally at home in the backend as well as on the frontend and bring your experience to bear in both areas, whether it’s complex architectures or the design of single-page applications, with the backend being your main strength. You are a power user of AI-based tools (ideally, have experience with GitHub Copilot), and you know how to boost your productivity with them safely and responsibly. You know how to use LLMs as components of software architecture and as a means of delivering customer value. You have excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and a solution-oriented & KPI-driven working style.
