We are looking for:

• A Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) for exciting projects in software development.

The core duties of the position include:

• the development of innovative software solutions in Python and Java with a focus on big data
• the design, setup and operation of cloud architectures
• the development of robust solutions for the intelligent analysis of text data
• the targeted aggregation of information from a wide variety of data sources such as databases, file systems or data streams
• the creation and quality assurance of software documentation and presentations

Desired qualifications:

• Several years of sound experience in software development and software architecture
• Practical experience in the cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure or Google Cloud)
• Extensive experience in software development in Python and Java and ideally other programming languages
• Additional knowledge of Java, Perl or Bash is desirable
• Hands-on experience in the development of web services
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Linux and open source environment
• Applied experience with version control systems such as Git
• Basic knowledge of machine learning
• Nice to have: Enthusiasm for language
• Ideally a degree in computer science, a natural science or computational linguistics
• Native fluency in written and spoken German
• Good to very good written and spoken English skills
• Reliability and professionalism in handling
