Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex Java applications. You will set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and guide architecture decisions across Agile teams.

The role focuses on scalable RESTful microservices, secure development, and cloud-native practices using AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, and modern IaC tools. Excellent communication with product and external partners is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, software engineering, architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years in a technical software development role with progression into senior leadership.
• 4+ years architecting enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework.
• Automated testing experience.
• Designing scalable RESTful microservices and API ecosystems.
• Experience with AWS or Azure; Kubernetes or ECS/Fargate; Lambda; SQS; SNS; CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Secure development practices and CI/CD automation.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, architecture, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 6+ years in a technical software development role with demonstrated progression into senior-level technical leadership
• 4+ years of deep experience architecting and developing enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework
• Comprehensive automated testing experience
• Extensive experience designing, building, securing, and maintaining scalable RESTful microservices and API ecosystems
• Advanced expertise with AWS or Azure
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes or ECS/Fargate, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and CloudFormation or Terraform
• Proven track record in database design, complex SQL optimization, and efficient ORM/data access management
• Experience leading the architectural lifecycle of major production‑grade features from inception to deployment
• Strong expertise in system design patterns, distributed systems architecture, microservices, and clean code principles
• Deep knowledge of secure development practices, security testing methodologies, and vulnerability resolution using tools like Snyk or Qualys
• Strong inclination toward CI/CD automation, DevOps principles, performance tuning, and proactive system monitoring
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to mentor team members and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
