EMIL Group, a Berlin-based Insurtech, seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test to design systems ensuring reliability and correctness of our cloud-native insurance platform. You will build testing frameworks, automation pipelines, and validation mechanisms to enable safe, scalable development.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to embed quality into architecture. You will work on AI-assisted development tools to improve test generation, debugging, and development
We are building a cloud-native insurance platform designed for a future where humans and AI collaborate to create, configure, and operate insurance products.
Insurance systems are complex and highly sensitive to errors. Pricing rules, policy lifecycles, billing, and claims must behave correctly across thousands of scenarios. As the platform evolves and becomes more automated, ensuring reliability and correctness becomes even more important.
As a Senior Software Engineer in Test (f/m/d/x) for AI-Enabled Insurance Plattform, you will help design the systems and tools that ensure our platform remains safe to change, reliable at scale, and transparent in its behavior.
This role is not about writing manual test cases. It is about engineering systems that make quality measurable and automatic. You will build testing frameworks, automation pipelines, and validation mechanisms that allow our teams to develop complex features with confidence.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and platform teams to ensure that quality is built into the architecture of the system.
