Sentry Insurance seeks a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team. You’ll contribute to full‑stack cloud‑first initiatives using Java, Vue, and Guidewire, in a collaborative, agile environment.

In this hybrid role, you’ll design, develop, and implement solutions, participate in code reviews and testing, and own quality across tasks. We value learning, teamwork, and the drive to grow with the business.

Qualifikationen

• Associate Degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent related work experience. Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience. 5 or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Demonstrated aptitude in one or more programming languages and software development concepts.
• Ability to critically evaluate multiple options to solve complex problems.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Guidewire, Java and Vue preferred.
• Values continuous learning and personal development.
• Enjoys working in a team focused and collaborative environment.

We are seeking a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer to join our Commercial Lines IT team.

This position can be filled as a Software Engineer or Senior Software Engineer based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
