GROPYUS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Product Delivery team at our manufacturing facility. You will design, build, test, and operate software connecting PLCs, robots, and 3rd-party systems to enable automated wall and slab element production.

You’ll work in a hybrid infra environment (cloud and on‑prem) and contribute to Site Reliability Engineering, monitoring, updates, and KPI tracking, helping ensure high uptime and performance across critical systems.

• Experienced software engineer with manufacturing or logistics systems background.
• Experience with cloud & on-prem deployments, observability, and pipelines.
• Familiar with SLAs/SLOs and production monitoring.

About the Role:

You will be part of a highly collaborative product team working at the core of our manufacturingfacilitytransforming digital models into physical elements at scale.

Product Teams at GROPYUS own what they build, including underlying infrastructure,buildpipelines, automated testing, release and rollout management, monitoring, and support. You will be trusted to solve problems efficiently and effectively building on top of a solid architecture and operational foundation and will be encouraged to seek out under-attended topics and assume responsibility for them both within your product area as well as across product areas.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for integrating and coordinating the PLC,Robotand 3rd-party systems which manufacture wall and slab elements. You will write software – both alone as well as in pair with your team colleagues, ensure functionality with a solid testing approach and deploy and rollout changes to the live systems. Furthermore, our teams are also responsible foroperatingand troubleshooting the software they have developed during working hours of the factory.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) on the Product Delivery team, you willbe responsible for:

• Designing, building, testing and operating software solutions forlogisticsand manufacturing use cases incl. Robots, AGVs and other (semi) automated manufacturing equipment.

• Working in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-prem), managing complex software deployments at scale

• Bringing aSite Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindsettomonitor, maintain, and improve software uptime including reliable updates, latency, and efficiency

• Acting as a bridge between digital product delivery & physicallogisticsand manufacturing systems, ensuring both are aligned and integrated

• Helping define,monitorand evolve SLAs/SLOs as well as other important KPIs like e.g. OEE for critical systems

What you bring:

• You are an experienced software engineer– preferably with a background in manufacturing orlogisticssystems, Site ReliabilityEngineeringor software system operations
• You possess practical experience in some / all key areas of modern software development, including infrastructure, observability, testing, deployment pipelines incl. quality assurance, and scaling
• You have operated and supported large-scale software systems incloud and non-cloud environments (on-premise)
• You have worked in companies with strong operational cultures , ideally in logistics or manufacturing – understanding the commercial impact of system downtime
• You are proficient with most of the following technologies:
  • Kotlin / SpringBoot
  • Kubernetes
  • Linux
  • PostgreSQL
  • Python / Bash is a plus
• You bring Cloud Operations experience
  • Experience with Azure is a bonus
• You are familiar with monitoring and alerting practices for production systems
• You have experience defining and working with SLAs/SLOs
