Zusammenfassung

Capmo.com in Berlin seeks a senior software engineer to design and build scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, and to architect APIs powering our platform. You’ll own features end-to-end from discovery to production, collaborating with frontend engineers and contributing to architectural discussions.

Occasional React work (~20%) is expected. A strong ownership mindset is essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend engineering experience building production systems
• Excellent knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, AWS and PostgreSQL
• Experience designing scalable APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native architectures
• Strong system design skills and the ability to break down complex business problems into elegant technical solutions
• A product mindset, you understand customer problems, not just technical ones
• High ownership and the ability to independently drive projects from concept to production
• Experience working across the stack, with enough React knowledge to contribute when needed

Tasks

You’ll join one of our small, highly autonomous product teams where engineers own features end-to-end from discovery through implementation and production.

Some of the areas we’re investing in include expanding our platform with Project Financials, bringing cost management, budgeting, payments and complex third-party integrations into the Capmo ecosystem.

You’ll:

• Design and build scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript.

• Architect APIs, backend services and distributed systems that power our platform.
