Zusammenfassung

Coveo is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to run and evolve the data platform as a product, focusing on reliability, performance, and end-to-end ownership. The role centers on Databricks and Snowflake environments unified as the analytics backbone for ML workloads.

You will design IaC, manage platform operations, forecast costs with FinOps, and work closely with product teams and vendors to keep the platform healthy and aligned with business needs.

Qualifikationen

• Significant hands-on experience managing Databricks infrastructure at scale in production.
• Demonstrated track record delivering reliability and observability for high-scale SaaS platforms, including SLOs, alerting, and incident response.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and platform automation work.
• Strong background in infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and modern change management workflows.

Nice to have

• Snowflake experience covering warehouse tuning, governance, and Terraform/DDL provisioning.
• Experience designing and operating a hybrid platform that integrates Databricks and Snowflake together.
• Strong Spark skills, including tuning, partitioning strategies, and optimizing large‑scale jobs.
• Familiarity with security and governance best practices across both platforms.
• Delta Lake and lakehouse expertise, including table formats, CDC, compaction, and storage layout optimization for interoperability.
