Jobtailor in Germany seeks a senior IAM consultant to lead strategic assessment engagements for SMBs across industries, delivering current-state analyses, future-state roadmaps, and maturity plans.

You will run discovery sessions in IGA, AM, PAM, IdV, produce executive-ready deliverables, advise during presales, and help shape IAM services and vendor selections.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of IAM strategy, governance, and advisory services spanning IGA, AM, PAM, and IdV.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication with executive deliverables.
• Experience conducting IAM maturity assessments and developing strategic roadmaps.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across technical and business audiences.

• Serves as a trusted advisor during the presales process, identifying and aligning the right IAM services to client needs.
• Supports clients through vendor selection and helps define a clear path forward for IAM program improvements.
• Collaborates with internal teams to continuously develop and refine assessment methodology and service offerings.
• Contributes to thought leadership through development of reusable frameworks, templates, and best practice content.
• Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools, to work smarter, solve problems, and drive better business outcomes.

• Collaborates with internal teams to continuously develop and refine assessment methodology and service offerings

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in IAM strategy, governance, and advisory services spanning IGA, AM, PAM, and IdV
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to create and present compelling, executive-level deliverables
• Experience conducting IAM maturity assessments and developing strategic roadmaps
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across technical and business audiences
• 4-5 years of experience supporting presales engagements, scoping complex IAM projects, and developing statements of work
• Deep understanding of IAM industry standards, frameworks, and best practices including NIST, ISO, and OWASP
• Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage a remote work environment and work independently
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex IAM concepts into clear business value and risk language for executive audiences
